Terms.

Scope and deliverables.

The written quote defines scope. Any change to scope after work has started is quoted and agreed before the work continues. We do not surprise-invoice.

Deliverables are Git repositories, hosted files, or WordPress site logins, per the quoted scope. Every project ships with a README documenting build, run, and deploy.

Payment.

50% deposit on quote acceptance, 50% on delivery. Stripe or bank transfer accepted. Retainer clients invoiced monthly in advance.

Intellectual property.

You own the code we deliver on receipt of final payment. We retain the right to reference the project as a portfolio piece unless an NDA has been signed. Standard open-source dependencies retain their own licences (MIT, Apache, GPL, ISC, BSD).

Warranty and fix window.

Fourteen days from delivery. Any bug in the delivered code (visual regression, accessibility failure, broken interaction, cross-browser fail on the specified matrix) is fixed free. New features and out-of-scope changes are quoted separately.

Tool disclosure.

Every delivery ships with a tool disclosure line: which AI tools ran the first pass, what percentage of code we kept, what we hand-coded. This is part of the deliverable, not optional.

Confidentiality.

Standard mutual NDA available on request; we counter-sign inside 24 hours weekdays. Client files are stored on our internal systems for the project duration plus 90 days, then deleted unless retained under a signed retention clause.

Cancellation.

Deposit is refundable up to work-start. After work-start, cancellation refunds unused time pro-rata, calculated on the day rate implied by the quote. Retainer clients can cancel any month with 14 days notice.

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes to the courts of England and Wales unless another forum is agreed in writing.
